(not so) Great Events in History

 

They say all good things must come to an end, and this was never more true in the world of rock and roll than it was 43 years ago today. Back in 1970, Paul McCartney gave the first 'official' indication that The Beatles were breaking up.

  

Although McCartney's growing dissatisfaction with the group's record label and artistic differences were blamed for the split, surely it was no coincidence they sang Got To Get You Into My Life? We can't help but think "if only their management team had invested a little more in some decent bar stools" then music history could have been so very different.
