90 minutes with Europa, on the telly.

We love big events – delivering great furniture hire to them is our pride and joy.

But something else that gets us just as fired up, is football. In fact, our managing director Steve loves the game so much that, not content with facing the up and downs he experiences following his boyhood club – his beloved Crystal Palace – he went and lent his (and Europa’s) support to another local team a few rungs further down the football ladder at the start of the 2015/16 season.  

Turns out Europa must be a good luck charm at footie matches as well as at events, exhibitions and conferences, as the mighty Bromley FC are also riding high in the Vanarama National League – just five points off the top, in fourth place. This Saturday they played Altrincham at home in the League and as luck would have it, they (and we) were on the telly!

We were official matchball sponsors (Steve’s dusted off his John Motson coat for the pitch-side presentation). What’s more, every time there was a goal kick, a long ball or 50-yard screamer into the top corner (sadly that didn’t happen), everyone watching got to see the Europa logo smiling back at them as we showed off our large new shiny pitch side sponsorship banner, right opposite the TV cameras.
